Our team is led by Markee Jackson. Born and raised in South Carolina, Markee always had a knack for fixing equipment and started his HVAC training in high school doing duct work in shop in 1998. After graduating high school, Markee joined the military and received a 2-year HVAC educational program at Horry Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) from 2001 to 2003. 

Markee then served in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003 to 2005, and upon completing his service he returned to HGTC. He was taught by Jerry Britt, one of the best HVAC teachers in the industry. Markee was encouraged by Jerry to teach as well and has now been teaching other students along with Jerry Britt and his son John Britt at the ACR Training Center since 2022. Markee is EPA Certified Universal and now has 25 years of experience in the business.

PhD’s has been in the pool maintenance business for many years. They have built quite a reputation in the South Strand for maintaining and servicing pools and equipment. “With our reputation in the south strand, and our client base, it seemed like a natural fit and a good business strategy to partner with Markee and offer HVAC services to our pool clientele,” said Danny Young, owner of PhD’s in Murrells Inlet, SC.
